It was a real pleasure working with Neil. Neil took over as my assessor part way through my qualification and he explained everything from grass roots and put a package in place that I could follow step by step. I found iLearner confusing at first but Neil gave me direction to simplify it for my needs and showed me how to understand and get around it.
As I work with intensively with children and my role is of a sensitive nature, Neil used lots of different ways to make sure I was still able to meet the criteria to complete my qualification. We used testimonials, evidence, questions and recorded discussions to show my knowledge.
Two years ago my job changed and this qualification has given me a much better understanding of my new job role, I’m now much more confident at work and it has given me the motivation to follow the Mental Health pathway in the Trust.
