As the year draws to a close, we thought it was the ideal time to review and celebrate the achievements of our Apprentices at Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (NTW) NHS Foundation Trust.
Between 2015 and 2018 Apprentices have exceeded the national average achievement rates by 10% (81% compared to the national average of 71%).
Across all our programmes, Apprentices have achieved well above the national average:
- Intermediate apprentices 78% v 71%
- Advanced apprentices 86% v 71%
- Higher apprentices 67% v 57%.
It is interesting to note that more male apprentices have achieved!
- Male 92% v 73%
- Female 75% v 70%.
What’s more, a greater number of our apprentices have completed their programme in line with their planned end date compared to their national counterparts (74% v 63%).
Jacky Wilson, Director of rove, said: “We’re really pleased with our results over the past few years. Our achievement rates reflect the efforts and commitment of our team and the apprentices we have supported.
“We work closely with NTW to ensure each apprentice receives the training and support to best meet their needs so they can realise their potential”.
Hats off to you all!
